CUBS, SCOUTS & BROWNIES
Every year we help young people in Aberdare enjoy new adventures; to experience the outdoors; interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
At St Fagan's Aberdare, we run Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Brownies for boys and girls aged 6-18.
We take part in activities as diverse as kayaking, abseiling, camping, photography, climbing and zorbing. You can learn survival skills, first aid, computer programming, or even how to fly a plane. There’s something for every young person. It’s a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, express your creativity and experience the wider world.
These activities are possible thanks to our adult volunteers, who support us in a wide range of roles from working directly with young people, to helping manage a group, to being a charity Trustee. We help our adult volunteers get the most out of their experiences at by providing opportunities for adventure, training, fun and friendship.
