ST FAGAN, ST LUKE & ST JAMES
CUBS, SCOUTS & BROWNIES
Every year we help young people in Aberdare enjoy new adventures; to experience the outdoors; interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
At St Fagan, we run Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Brownies for boys and girls aged 6-18. We take part in activities as diverse as kayaking, abseiling, camping, photography, climbing and zorbing. You can learn survival skills, first aid, computer programming, or even how to fly a plane. There’s something for every young person. It’s a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, express your creativity and experience the wider world.
These activities are possible thanks to our adult volunteers, who support us in a wide range of roles from working directly with young people, to helping manage a group, to being a charity Trustee. We help our adult volunteers get the most out of their experiences at by providing opportunities for adventure, training, fun and friendship.
